Day whatever

I give up with this blog and the book.
I thought it would be okay if no one read it, but it actually sucks.
Not even my friends or my boyfriend bother. Not even my parents.

Will I keep blogging? Not likely.
I can't come up with any sort of good concept.
I can't put the work in to make myself known.
So I'm done. When my life becomes interesting, I'll talk about it. But not now.

Of course, I'm sure this post will get more comments and views than the rest of my blog combined.

Day 267: Throw away a potential weapon

Day 267
Today I have to throw away a potential weapon.
I toss a pen. It’s good for stabbing, which makes it a weapon. Not a lethal one, really, but a weapon nonetheless.
Today it’s actually back to Epcot. Except I spend some time in Disneyquest.
Disneyquest? Not my favorite. Seems like it might be fun with friends, but with parents? Eh.
I finish my search for Mickeys in Epcot that night as we wander around the World Showcase. And also, we have dinner in France, good food.

Going to a convention this weekend, might be late with updates.
And no one cares.

Day 266: What did you do last Thursday?

Day 266
Today I have to figure out what I did last Thursday.
Ummmm.
I went to the oral surgeon and that was about it yeah.
Today was the best. Magic Kingdom!
As far as I’m concerned, the Magic Kingdom is Disney. I feel like a kid there.
I manage to ride everything except the teacups and Dumbo, but that’s okay because I’ve kind of outgrown those. Those are just popular ‘cause they’re in the commercials.
I find most of the Hidden Mickeys, plus another one not in the book. It’s on the sign for the Jungle Cruise.
I love being in the Magic Kingdom. It really is magic.

I want to go back to Disney now.

Day 265: Prevention [and Animal Kingdom]

Day 265
Today I need to prevent things by taking ridiculous measures.
I do this by going to the Animal Kingdom and finding all the Hidden Mickeys there because who knows if I’ll ever go back? I want to find them.
I ride all the rides I can, fun times.
On the safari, the animals are really active. It’s sort of cold out (about 50, so pretty warm for me) but this means that all the larger animals are moving around. Even the male lion, which apparently just sleeps most of the day. But when we get to him, he’s standing on a rock and actually kind of posing.
Awesome.

Posing lion.

Day 264: PErsonal ad

Day 264
Today, I am supposed to put a personal ad in the paper.
I do not do this, as I am miles away from my local newspaper and without internet access.
Today, we go to Epcot. We do all the big rides while I search for Hidden Mickeys, such a fun time.
Best part? One of the cast members tells me about a Mickey not even in the book. It’s so hard to see, but it’s one of those once you see it, you can’t miss it things. I plan on emailing the guy who wrote the book to tell him about it.
I love the rides, I love being in Disney, it’s so amazing.
We get stuck on Spaceship Earth, and it’s uncomfortable ‘cause I have a small cold and we’re stuck tilted downhill. After a few minutes, it gets hard to breathe.
But it’s all okay, and the day is long and awesome.

My head hurts.

Day 263: Disinfect [Disneyworld!]

Day 263
Today, I’m supposed to disinfect things.
Today we go to the Harry Potter area of the park. It’s so amazing. Everything seems straight out of the movies, and it’s just fantastic.
We ride the big new hyped ride twice. It lives up to the hype. I can’t even describe it really, it’s unlike any ride I’ve ever been on before.
There’s a malfunction on the Jurassic Park ride later in the day (we rode it again!) and it has such a shaky start that the seat back slams into us and my neck and my mom’s back are both in pain. When we get off the ride, my mom complains, and the guy operating the ride shrugs it off and tells us to move on. There’s three people in the boat behind us, and lots of room.
So when we’re on our way out, my mom goes to complain. We end up getting free fastpasses for rides on our next visit, whenever that may be. Sweet.
Then, we leave the park and have a taxi take us to another hotel. One of the Disney resorts. Yeah, we’re not going to Florida and skipping Disneyworld.
I convince my parents that come on, we so need to go to Downtown Disney instead of taking a break. We’re in Disneyworld, and even though we’re not going to the parks till tomorrow, we can’t just do nothing.
So we go to Downtown Disney, do a bit of shopping, but mostly I start my search for Hidden Mickeys. I have some trouble finding a few of them but mostly I’m pretty good. And I realize wow this is fun.
When I get back to the hotel, I take a shower and consider that disinfecting myself.

I love Disneyworld.
I wanna go back now.

Day 262: Instructions are (not) online

Day 262
Today I’m supposed to get instructions from the internet.
I go through the process of getting internet in the hotel room ($10 for the day, btw) only to find out that website the Book led me to does not exist.
So, free day?
Back to Universal today, this time the other park. Islands of Adventure. Lots of rides. I remember more of this.
I love the Jurassic Park ride. When I was younger, I was afraid of big drops, and my mom assured me that there wouldn’t be any on this. There would just be animatronic dinosaurs. She was very wrong.
But at least this time, I love big drops. And I love the ride.
We try to avoid the new Harry Potter area. We’re doing that tomorrow and we don’t want to spoil the surprise. But they’ve blocked off paths so you have to go through it. It’s so amazing even just walking through.
Dinner tonight is at Bubba Gump’s. I used to go to the original one all the time when I lived in California—it was in Monterey, next to the aquarium, and we went to the aquarium pretty often. It was awesome. So, going to the restaurant again was nice.

It was all pretty awesome
